Italian Elections Have Tax Reductions

Italian community will vote to elect members of parliament on 24 to 25 February 2013. The election was the first since the debt crisis engulfing the European Union and throw the country into political chaos.

Four candidates, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is, Pier Luigi Bersani, Mario Monti, and Beppe Grillo, race offers the promise of tax cuts in the last campaign. They fight over 20% of the vote according to pollsters will determine the choices in recent weeks.

Former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi promised to reduce property taxes worth more than U.S. $ 5 billion. He also promised to grant amnesty to tax evaders and eliminate property levy.

Meanwhile, the other three candidates also offer tax cuts to the different levels. "The election results are still very uncertain," said Giada Giani, an economist at Citigroup Inc.
