Aircraft In Demands

Airbus SAS Management estimates the new aircraft in the Asia Pacific region over the next two decades reaches 9870 fleet. Business value of U.S. $ 1.6 trillion. This condition will encourage the development of the aircraft industry.

John Leahy, Chief Operating Officer (CFO) Airbus, explains, the aircraft industry has good business prospects in Asia Pacific. This is comparable to the growth of inter-regional travel in the region. "Hence, wide-bodied aircraft to be selling," said Leahy.

International Air Transport Association (IATA) also estimated that the number of airline passengers in the Asia Pacific region will increase.

In 2016, the number of airline passengers in the Asia Pacific region will reach 1.2 billion and contributed 33% of the total industry. It at once to overtake the number of passenger aircraft most recently, North America.
