President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama offers a proposal for increase in state spending, especially investment in infrastructure, clean energy, and education. The proposal is scheduled to be delivered Obama in his annual address before the U.S. Congress on Tuesday (12/2).
Senior officials in the administration in the White House, said Obama delivered a speech that would indicate that he did not lose sight of the economic pressure felt middle-class Americans.
Efforts to increase the middle class economy, especially in terms of job creation become a major issue that brought Obama in his presidential campaign last year. The issue has overshadowed efforts to reduce the deficit, overhauling immigration laws and curb the use of firearms.
"The success of Obama's second term depends on the level of economic growth achieved," said Ruy Teixeira, a political analyst with the Center for American Progress.
