Egypt Lobbying Germany

Egypt's revolution is still ongoing. The economic conditions of the country is also profanity rife due demonstration today.

Yesterday (30/1) The President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, traveled to Germany to ask for economic assistance. In a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Morsi tried to ensure that Egypt remains committed to running a democracy.

But the request was not immediately granted. Merkel expressed his desire to see the first dialogue between all political forces and the government can respect human rights.

"The important thing for us is to outline the dialogue is always open to all political forces in Egypt, that the different political forces can contribute, that upheld human rights in Egypt and of course freedom of religion is run," said Angela Merkel in a joint press conference.

In addition to seeking aid disbursement, President Morsi also want to Berlin was willing to remove Egypt's debt of U.S. $ 300 million.
